My mission as an artist is to express my joy in the beauty to be found all around us here on our long-suffering, generous planet Earth. Beauty is solace, and yes sometimes reproof: solace in those "dark nights of the soul" that occasionally beset us, and reproof for taking too seriously our own sorrows. It is my hope that by sharing my experience of beauty I may bring that solace into others' lives, at least momentarily.
